Poganuc people their loves and lives. By Harriet Beecher Stowe.

Though the village of Poganuc is fictional, Harriet Beecher Stowe based this, her last novel, on her childhood hometown of Litchfield, Connecticut. The book deals with religious and political issues, as well as the lives of the residents of a small, Puritanical New England town.
