Description
Summary:This thesis is an analysis on the development of the American political system between 1776 and 1787. During this time American politicians created a theoretically sound, but practically ill suited documents at both the state and national levels. The realization that these documents could not adequately address the problems associated with day to day governance gradually led to the realization that the political systems and documentation required substantial reformation. The resulting Federal Constitution resulted from a desire for substantial reformation and a series of compromises between anti Federalist and Federalist elements. .
