520 |a As the Cuban Missile Crisis unfolds in America, Katie, a teenage girl who has visions of the future, finds herself engulfed in a world of espionage, secrets, and rising nuclear tensions. Isolated in an underground bunker, she shares her visions with the government to try to prevent the impending war. However, when Katie finds out that she has been working for the Soviets rather than the C.I.A. as she was led to believe, she is torn between the two sides of the Cold War. She must decide whether to side with the people who raised her, but lied to her, or to trust her new allies in the C.I.A. Regardless of what she chooses, Katie must dig into her own past to uncover how she is connected to the events unfolding in the present and to find a way to use her visions to prevent the culmination of the arms race that threatens to destroy the whole world.
