The collection also contains photocopies of letters from libraries in England and Wales which Arnold wrote to family and academic colleagues. These correspondents include John Ward, Edward Hamer, Rev. J.P. Mahaffy, Andrew Miller, Rev. The Vice Chancellor of Cambridge, James Dixon, David Masson and Norman MacColl
