The liberty we seek : loyalist ideology in colonial New York and Massachusetts / Janice Potter.
This book seeks to provide a clear statement of Loyalist ideas and to show that there was an idealogy common to Loyalists from different backgrounds and regions. The emphasis in this study is on the public appeal of the Loyalists rather than on their private thoughts.
